VideoVisit strengthens its presence in the Finnish public sector – 8 years long framework agreement on Online Customer Care

Publicly owned Finnish organizations such as municipalities and hospital districts can now take the next step with providing services online since VideoVisit Ltd signed 4+4 years long framework agreement with KL-Kuntahankinnat regarding VideoVisit’s online customer care platform.

Public services directly to home

Online customer care platform introduce new online communication functionalities that will help public organizations to provide their services anywhere at anytime. Service supports online chat communication either traditionally via text, but it also enables a smooth transition from instant messaging to video call. In addition to instant chat module, the service enables booking video appointments via built-in online calendar.

Besides online doctor appointment toolsets (chat, online calendar booking system) the framework singed also covers a technical solution for online doctor appointments. This ensures that the healthcare chain stays unbroken also in the virtual healthcare services.

New possibilities for public healthcare services

The framework agreement signed between VideoVisit and KL-Kuntahankinnat benefits Finnish public healthcare providers who have been looking for new ways to provide healthcare services to Finnish people. VideoVisit® platform adds value especially to rural areas where long distances create a need for online doctor appointments and doctor consultations.

Besides working as a stand-alone platform, healthcare providers have found VideoVisit’s open API functions really useful. VideoVisit® platform can be integrated for example with patient healthcare record systems, existing online calendar booking systems or contact center software.
